The Boy and the ClownThe voice speaks to him
The poor little kid
It's cursed him forever
Of it he'll never be rid

The voice comes from his doll
His Fella plushy
That's dressed as a clown
With a smile of insanity

It speaks to the child
Tells him to do horrid things
On Halloween night
Terror it brings

The Fella turned to him
Saying its time to kill
Instructing the boy
That his family's blood he will spill

The boy begged for mercy
But the doll told him no
Said there was evil inside him
And its time for it to show

The boy asked sadly
Will this set me free?
The clown faced Fella laughed
And said maybe we'll see

So the boy picked up his blade

The Watcher Here are a few things fella saw on Halloween .

He saw
kings and queens
Winged dragons
Cowboys in runaway wagons
Featured creatures from outer space
Demon seeds and little speed racers
He saw
Vampires dressed in evening attire
Clowns that looked a little haywire
Werewolves and witches and little red devils
All sorts of monsters who haunt and taunt you
He saw
Little scary fairies that carry jack o lanterns
Ghouls who duel with ghosts and goblins
Skeletons that eat tons of candy
Mummi

Scream and dreamTrick or Treat I hear them scream
Eyes emitting a monstrous gleam
Imagining all that lay ahead
Toil and Trouble and full of dread

Dressed in costumes filled with fright
Ghouls and witches roam the night
Fella stalks the streets so dark
Enjoying Hallows ritual lark

Hiding behind every tree
Yelling BOO to all that see
His costume made of blood and bone
A mask unique that was his own

A cackled laugh and eerie sound
of words he spoke to children found
With bags of candy in their grasp
Dropping all to hear his rasp

Trick or Treat its time for bed
To eat some candy and rest your head
Toil and trouble screech and scream

THE EVIL COSTUME    Finally the little boy was able to put on his costume. He had waited all day for the darkness to overtake the earth.
  As he slipped the final head mask over his face . He felt this evil and cold presence over take his entire little stubby body. He began to shake and quiver!  He didn't know what to do.
  His costume was supposed to be a little cute bunny rabbit. When he looked in the mirror, he saw this mean nasty looking rabbit gazing back at him.  It had an evil glare in it's eye's.  As if the rabbit was getting ready to slice him up, into a million bits !

A Haunting ReflectionAt first, I thought it was just a trick, some cosmic joke set up by my friends. That would be the logical solution. Any minute, I would turn around and see Fella dressed in one of those screamer costumes. The one with the plastic masks and a pump built into the sleeve so one can make blood drip down their face. At least, that's what I was hoping.

Then, I decided that wasn't possible. Everything in the house was flipped, like I was looking at a mirror version of it. I kept hearing noises and voices, a worried man and a distraught woman. Maybe I was just being haunted by a ghost. It wasn't logical but it was possible. I believed in that kind o

A Monster - Changed Forever                       A scream pierced through the night.
                                   He was a monster.
                            It terrified the poor creature.
    It was just as he thought;

Fresh PaintCrimson paint, dripping, flowing,
Shone with light of red eyes glowing,
Paints a haunted canvas near
The corpse of someone you hold dear

Each horrid stroke is trademark of
A disembodied, blood-stained glove
Its master working late at night,
To bring you gifts of death and fright

Glowing of an aura blue,
The ghostly painter grins at you
Locked within his gruesome stare,
You're helpless to escape his lair

Tattered beret upon his head,
The floating phantom reeks of dead
A threadbare smock, aged and soiled,
Reveals how his victims toiled

For when this fearsome ghoul's in need,
He simply makes his prisoners bleed
He'll drain

Fellas little SecretIt was All Hallow's Eve and on this night all came out to play.
I could be myself and no-one would be the wiser.
None would comment on the pallor of my skin or the fact that it was falling off the bone in places or the caked blood that smelt of yesterday.
I watched as the children scurried with their buckets hoping to get them filled with candy.
It made what teeth I had left in my head ache.
Metaphorically speaking of course.
No-one looked my way except in weird appreciation of what they thought was my costume.
My mother always commented on what a cute little fella I was and how inventive my costumes were.

This spooky fearWe all are in our beds and all we hear is knocking in the door two times. Loraine gets up to get the door, but even before we could, we heard loud, board-creaking footsteps coming from downstairs. Fella's Great DisguiseThey claimed he was adorable and as cute as could be. It was hard to see through the facade he put up, how sweet he acted. He was Fella and no one could ever find anything wrong about him.

What would they have done if the had all known he was a monster?

No one ever would have figured out if it weren't for that Halloween. There was a reason he always disappeared before the moon went down, especially on Halloween, when it's always said that the veil between the living in the dead gets thinner until it almost doesn't exist. But this Halloween, he was convinced to stay out late. He lost track of time quickly, trick-or-treating with his friends

A Halloween PandemicPeople shrieked in fear, running in blind terror as far away from Fella as they could, clutching desperately at miniature bottles of Purell. Tears coursed uselessly down their faces, swallowed by the folds of their costumes. The wind howled around the terrified Halloweeners, whipping viciously at any exposed skin and rattling through the empty branches of the trees. Fella continued on, oblivious to the chaos unfolding around him. He smiled brightly, mistaking it as part of the Halloween cheer. His small plastic pumpkin swung lightly in his hands, eager to be filled with any nearby Halloween candy.

The Fella: A Halloween Tale

One All-Hallow's-Eve so dreary, I did homework, bored and weary,
Over many a heavy volume of biology and lore
While I studied, still and sleepy, I felt a presence, close and creepy
As if someone had come to greet me, greet me sitting at my chore
"'Tis just a dream," I muttered, "So sleepy and about to snore –
Only this and nothing more."

But a devil-beast appearing in my work soon interfering,
Straight it wheeled my desk chair in front of laptop and Explorer
Then upon the cushion sinking, Fe'la betook himself to linking
Webpage unto webpage, winking as he led me to procrastination's door –
Will this fiend so costumed leave me study anymore?
Quoth the Fella, "Nevermore."

That Demon Fella, never jaunting, still is haunting, still is haunting,
On the closed lid of the laptop that is sitting on my floor;
And his eyes they are compelling me to never sleep, impelling
And my desk-light o'er him felling, as I browse through dA's store
And my soul from out that website that is open on Explorer
Shall be lifted – nevermore!

My entry for Fella's Halloween Contest.

This is a parody of Edgar Allan Poe's poem, "The Raven," one of the absolute classic creepy pieces of literature. I parodied the first and last stanzas and stanza twelve in the middle. Make sure to read the whole thing here! [link]

Basically, my thought was to do something lighthearted with a definate creepy tone to it, so I combined Poe's eerie meter and rhyme with the somewhat comic image of Fella dressed up in a devil costume coming to haunt me on Halloween night and make me become addicted to dA. Lol, and yes I am addicted, 'cause if you ever notice my online status it usually is "Online" or "Online (Idling)."

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy!
